In 2021, a powerful vision took root in the heart of Eiesha Wallace—a survivor, mother, and advocate. After enduring over a decade in an abusive relationship, Eiesha emerged not only with scars, but with an unshakable purpose: to ensure that no woman ever feels alone, silenced, or without options in the face of domestic violence.

Drawing from her own harrowing experiences and the difficult journey to safety and healing, Eiesha founded Shattered Voices Unheard. a nonprofit dedicated to supporting battered women with compassion, dignity, and real resources. Her mission was clear: to create a safe space where survivors could find their voice, reclaim their power, and begin again.

In its early days, Shattered Voices Unheard began with just a small network of volunteers and a handful of donated supplies. Eiesha operated out of a borrowed office space, often personally driving women to shelters, court hearings, and counseling appointments. But word spread quickly. Women who felt voiceless finally had an advocate who truly understood—someone who had walked the same path and made it out.

Since its founding, Shattered Voices Unheard has grown into a vital lifeline for survivors in the community, offering emergency shelter referrals, counseling, legal advocacy, support groups, and workshops focused on financial independence and self-empowerment. Under Eiesha’s leadership as CEO, the organization has partnered with local law enforcement, hospitals, and other nonprofits to build a coordinated response to domestic violence.

But beyond the services, shattered voices unheard stands as a symbol of resilience. It is the living testament of one woman’s courage transformed into a beacon of hope for countless others.

Today, Eiesha Wallace continues to lead the organization with the same passion and authenticity that sparked its creation. Her story fuels the mission, reminding every survivor who walks through the doors: You are not alone. You are not to blame. And you can rise again.
